Project Authorship: Tecnova Architecture, Ciclostile Architettura

The morphology of the project site, narrow and elongated, and the urban regulation represents the major constraint on the design. We started from this consideration to develop a concept that transforms these constraints into design solutions featuring volumes and designing spaces for relationship. The two volumes thus obtained are related in a defined way with the context, minimizing problems and maximizing sun exposure and introspection. The shape of these two buildings also allows you to reduce costs and optimize energy consumption because it represents a good balance between internal volume and external facades. The inner courtyard is the true heart of the building, the dialectical tension that is created with the "hard bark" contributes to the architectural balance of the complex with its various parts and with its relationship with the outside world.
